A transfer from Grayson Junior College who made a major impact in his first season with the team... Will be counted on for good production both at the plate and in the field.

1999 (Junior Season): Hart appeared and started in 50 games last season, hitting .328 in 192 at bats... He was one of just two players to start in 50 or more games during the season... Hart was second on the team with 49 runs scored and 63 hits... His 98 total bases was a team high... Hart also added 13 doubles, two triples, six home runs and 22 RBI... In 14 attempts Hart stole 11 bases.

Grayson Junior College: Playing both shortstop and third base, Hart hit .406 with 11 home runs, 32 doubles and 43 RBI in two seasons at Grayson... Hart was a two-time All-Conference selection, as well as being named and Academic All-American

Lubbock Monterrey High School: A career .460 hitter at Lubbock Monterrey High School Hart was selected All-City, All-Area, All-District, and All-State... In 1996 Hart led Lubbock Monterrey to the Texas 5A State Championships.

Personal: Dusty is the son of John and Penny Hart... Dusty plans to coach baseball, preferably at the Division I level.
