Wallace is a rare combination of size and speed... He can hit for average and power as well as steal some bases... Wallace was named to the 1998-99 UTPA Athletic Director;s Honor Rolls.

1999 (Junior Season): Wallace was a perfect 24 for 24 last season in stolen bases last season for the Broncs... The 24 steals led the squad as well... He hit .316 in 155 at bats, fourth best on the team... Wallace appeared in 47 games and started in 43... He cracked six home runs, tied for fourth on the team and had seven doubles... He tied for the team lead with a pair of triples... Also drew 14 walks and had a .368 on-base percentage... Had three assists, the most of any Bronc outfielder.

Grayson Junior College: Wallace helped lead Grayson JC to the final game of the Junior College World Series in 1998, losing Cowley County, Kansas... In 1997, as a freshman, Wallace hit .368 and led the team in stolen bases... In his sophomore season, Wallace hit .400 with three home runs and 26 stolen bases.

Kemper High School: While attending Kemper High School in Sugarland, Texas, Wallace was a three-sport athlete... Wallace lettered in baseball, basketball, and cross-county... Wallace was named an All-District selection in both junior and senior season... As a senior Wallace hit .370 and stole 32 bases.

Personal: Andy is the son of James and Sherry Wallace... Andy is majoring in both marketing and finance and plans to have a career in business marketing.
