Summary

Biography

Good catchers are worth their weight in gold and Chris Aguilar proved himself a valuable asset to the Broncs as a junior.     He is a strong defensive catcher who handles pitchers well. Kiki Trevino, the 1997 All-Sun Belt Conference ace of the Bronc staff, preferred to throw with behind the bat.     AT 5-11 and 170, Aguilar hit .207 in his 18 starts as catcher. He can improve that mark as a senior. Aguilar gives the Broncs a steady, smart, veteran ballplayer who can help a young team rebuild.     Aguliar is majoring in Spanish, minoring in English.
