Outdoor - Kelly set a great foundation for her career at UTPA in her first season as she captured one title and finished second in three others... won the Whataburger/UTSA Relays in the shot put with a throw of 43-10.75... set a freshman record in the shot put at the Angela Proctor Classic with a toss of 44-4.75, which was the fourth best throw in program history... finished second in that event... broke into the program[apos]s top five in the shot put with a throw of 42-7 at the Bayou Classic... set a freshman record in the hammer throw with a toss of 147-2 at the Rice Twilight, which earned her second place honors... earned second place laurels at the Border Olympics in the shot put after throwing 42-3... was fifth in the shot put at the Tom Tellez Invitational with a toss of 40-11.75... recorded a throw of 127-3 in the hammer throw at the Texas A&M Invitational... Indoor - Kelly found her name in the UTPA record books in both the shot put and weight throw in her first season with the Lady Broncs... recorded a throw of 43-2.25 in the shot put at the Houston Indoor Invitational, which was the second best throw in program history... finished with eighth in the shot put at that event... was fourth in the 20-lb. weight throw with a toss of 49-11, which was the third best throw in program history... earned second place laurels in the weight throw at the Houston / RunSport All-Comers Meet following a toss of 49-1.75... was sixth in the shot put in that event, throwing 42-5.50.

High School
Kelly finished ninth in the country at the Junior Olympics in the shot put as a senior at J.F. Dobie High School... ranked first in the shot put in the Houston area and was listed fifth in the state... earned six letters - four in track and field and two in basketball... earned captain honors for both squads... earned MVP honors on the hardwood for the top ranked team in Houston.

Off the Track
Kelly is the daughter of Tina Kelly... was born on Aug. 13, 1984... has two brothers - Cedrick and William... has not yet decided on a major.
