Outdoor - The Lady Broncs[apos] junior didn[apos]t have a throw under 40-0 during the entire season in the shot put... claimed the shot put title at UTPA[apos]s Angela Proctor Classic with a toss of 45-10, which was the third best throw in program history... missed qualifying for the regional meet by .75... was third at the Tom Tellez Invitational, throwing 42-4.25... also earned a pair of fourth-place finishes at the Border Olympics (40-8.50) and Whataburger/UTSA Relays (40-0)... finished sixth at the Rice Twilight with a throw of 40-11.50... Indoor - DeLuna recorded the second and third best throws in program history during the 2004 indoor season... finished with runner-up honors at the Houston / RunSport All-Comers Meet with a throw of 47-2.25, which was the second best throw in program history... claimed fourth place at the Houston Indoor Invitational with the third-best throw in history of 43-0.25.

2003
Outdoor - In her second season with the Lady Broncs, DeLuna won individual titles in three events... captured a pair of titles in the shot put (44-10) and discus (143-4) and a third-place finish in the hammer throw (134-7) at the Angela Proctor Classic... won the shot put title with a toss of 44-10 at the Javelina Relays, which was the fifth best throw in program history... finished second and third in the discus (145-4) and hammer throw (142-0) at that meet... captured the meet crown at the Dogwood Invitational in the hammer throw with the fifth-best throw in program history of 142-6... finished third at the Texas Relays in the shot put with a throw of 45-7, which was the fourth best throw in program history... was 19th at the NCAA Division I Midwest Regional Championships in the shot put, throwing 42-2... Indoor - DeLuna posted the second best throw in program history in the weight throw with a toss of 50-1.25 at the Houston Indoor Invitational where she finished runner-up... broke into the program[apos]s top five at the Houston Indoor Opener in the weight throw (48-9) and shot put (42-9.25)... finished third at the Houston Indoor Classic in the weight throw with a throw of 48-0 and was fourth in the shot put (42-6).

2002
Outdoor - DeLuna won two championships during her rookie campaign in the shot put... claimed the title at the Angela Proctor Classic with a throw of 42-3.50... won the Javelina Relays with a toss of 41-1 and placed fourth in the discus at the 133-7 mark... finished fourth in the shot put at the UTSA/Whataburger Classic with a throw of 40-5... was fifth in the shot put with a throw of 42-1.50 at the Angelo State Relays... Classroom - DeLuna was named to the Bronc Pride 3.0 Club during the spring semester.

High School - DeLuna was a four-time Most Valuable Performer for the Sharyland High School track and field team... earned Athlete of the Year and Outstanding Athlete honors for the Rattlers... lettered in track and field, volleyball and basketball... cited as the MVP on the hardwood... selected as the Defensive Player of the Year for the volleyball squad... graduated in the top 15 percent of her class... garnered the President[apos]s Award, Good Citizenship Award and Outstanding Senior of the Year honors... was the SAAD President and a member of the National Honor Society.

Off the Track - DeLuna is the daughter of Eduardo and Liliana DeLuna... was born on Nov. 4, 1983... has one brother - Eduardo - and one sister - Liliana... majoring in pre-med.
