Outdoor - Reida won three individual championships in the javelin in her first year with the UTPA track and field program... won first place at the Border Olympics, Angela Proctor Invitational and Texas Invitational... finished in the top three in every competition except one where she placed fifth... owns four of the top five javelin throws in program history... set a personal best with a distance of 138-10 at the Rice Bayou Classic, good for second place all-time at UTPA.

Cowley County Community College
Reida set the Tigers[apos] program record in the javelin with a personal-best toss of 132-8... finished fifth at the NJCAA National Meet as a sophomore... garnered 10th place honors the previous season... was a member of the record-holding 4x400 meter relay squad... earned Coaches[apos] All-American honors.

High School
Reida holds the Garden Plain High School record in the javelin with a toss of 123-8... finished fourth in the state in that event during her senior season... was a member of an Owls[apos] basketball team that captured the 2A State Championship... earned six letters - four in track and field and two in basketball.

Off the Track
Reida is the daughter of Daniel and Carla Reida... has six brothers... was born on June 20, 1983... majoring in broadcast journalism and kinesiology.
