Cross Country - The UTPA senior competed in a pair of meets during the cross country season... Outdoor - Toroitich posted a trio of seventh-place finishes during her first season with the Lady Broncs[apos] outdoor track and field program... posted a seventh-place finish at the Houston Invitational with a season-best time of 4:55.36 in the 1,500-meter race... notched a seventh-place accolade with a time of 5:01.03 in the 1,500-meter race at the Texas Twilight... earned seventh-place honors at the Border Olympics with a time of 5:07.70 in the 1,500 meters... Indoor - Toroitich posted her best finish at the Wes Kittley Invitational where she placed fifth overall with a mark of 2:29.97 in the 800-meter race... finished ninth overall in the 3,000-meter race with a time of 12:05.89 at the Wes Kittley Invitational... notched her best time of the indoor season at the UH/RunSport All-Comers Meet with a mark of 11:08.20 in the 3,000 meters en route to 11th-place honors.

2005
Cross Country - Toroitich posted her best finish of the cross country season at the Texas Lutheran Invitational where she crossed the end line in 20th-place with a time of 25:14.00 in the 6,000-meter race... recorded a time of 18:51.48 in the 5,000-meter race at the National Independent Cross Country Championships en route to earning 40th-place honors.

Butler Community College
A member of the Grizzlies[apos] track and field and cross country programs, Toroitich earned All-American status during the 2004 cross country season... placed 20th at the NJCAA Championships, finishing the 5,000-meter race in 19:49.40... was a part of a Butler Community College squad that finished fourth overall at nationals... finished third in the Region VI Cross Country Championships at the 19:18.29 mark... finished second at the NJCAA Half Marathon Classic in Wichita, KS, with a time of 1:24.55 en route to helping her squad capture the team championship.

Moi High School
Toroitich graduated from Moi High School in Kabarak, Kenya.

Toroitich is the daughter of Grace Toroitich... has four sisters and two brothers... was born on Nov. 17, 1980... majoring in nursing.
