Harry Meng led the Pan American men’s tennis program for seven years, experiencing immense success winning three NAIA team national championships from 1961-63, four NAIA doubles national championships, and two NAIA singles national championships.
Meng coached hall of famers Don Russell and John Sharpe. Russell and Sharpe won back-to-back NAIA doubles national championships in 1961 and 1962. Sharpe won the 1962 NAIA singles national championship and Russell won the 1963 NAIA singles national championship. Russell also won the 1963 NAIA doubles national championship with his partner Gerry Wortelboer.
