Has made the transition from first base to the outfield... Will also DH and could also see time at first base... An excellent hitter with power who gives the team a valuable left-handed bat in the lineup... Could develop into one of the team's top left-handed hitters.

(1994 Junior season): Split time in designated hitter spot and st first base, playing almost exclusively against right-handed pitchers... Saw action in 31 games and hit .235 with a home run and 14 RBIs in just 68 at-bats... Six of his nine hits were for extra bases.

(1992-93 Navarro JC): Two-year starter and letterman...  Hit .315 with five home runs and 32 RBIs as a sophomore.

Southwest High School: Earned All-District 6-5A and All-Tarrant County honors as a junior after hitting .413 with four home runs and 47 RBIs...Led the team to state playoffs... Played on Fort Worth city all-star team which played games in Japan during the summer between junior and senior years... Also lettered four years as a tight end and defensive end on the football team.
