Enters senior season as team's top moundsman and All-Star Belt candidate... Experienced pitcher who will be counted on to become leader of otherwise young staff... Strikeout pitcher with good fastball and has demonstrated improved control.

(1994 Junior Season): Was pleasant surprise, leading team in strikeouts per innings pitched and complete games... Did not gain eligibility until midway through season due to problems with NCAA Clearinghouse, but started wight games and pitched 51 2/3 innings... Had strikeout-to-walk ratio of better than 2 to 1... Was 2-6 with 7.66 ERA... Posted first major college win over Tarleton State on March 17... Posted first Sun Belt Conference win over New Orleans on March 26. 

(1992-93 West Valley JC): Two-Year starter for coach Mike Perez... Was 4-10 with two saves... Team went 19-21 during his sophomore season...

High School: Three-year starter... Also played volleyball and basketball and ran track.
