1994 (Junior Season): Ranked second on team in earned run average...  Compiled 1-3 record while 11 of his 12 appearances out of the bullpen... Allowed 25 runs (20 earned) in 29 1/3 innings... Earned lone victory of the season in start against Incarnate Word on Feb. 5.

1993 (Sophomore Season): Compiled 3-0 record with 4.61 ERA and also collected a save... Earned first major-college victory in relief against Maine in 8-7 win... Posted win over Princeton in the first start, striking out eight... Also had win against Western Baptist.

1992 (Lee Junior Community): Played for coach Roy Kinan...

Columbus High School: Three-time All-District selection... Three-year starter and four-year letterman for coach Wayne Zimmerhanzel... Posted 2.12 ERA with 100 strikeouts as a senior.. Also batted.367 with a .600 on-base percentage... Also lettered two seasons in football and earned All-District honors at linebacker.

Personal: Stephen Michael Christoph. Son of Ronnie and Janna Christoph of Columbus, Texas. Born November 20, 1972 at Houston, Texas. Majoring in kinesiology with plans to become a coach following graduation.
